Our residential model is unique in that we provide a safe and supportive environment where our students can focus on their studies away from the challenges of their home life. Our students build academic resilience and learn to take responsibility for their learning in order to achieve success. The result is that our students are better equipped to deal with the challenges of the tertiary education system.

Having been established in 1981, the College’s buildings and infrastructure is aging and desperately need upgrading. In order to meet the needs of our communities a comprehensive master plan and business plan have been developed to guide future expansion. The proposed new college campus would provide more suitable teaching and learning spaces as well as improved living conditions for students and staff.
The project has been adopted for inclusion in the uMngeni Local Municipality’s Integrated Development Plan (IDP). The proposed expansion has also been recognised by the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) as a Catalytic Business Venture.
